This is spicy black-eyed peas with turnip greens. It’s similar to a traditional meal my dad always cooked for New Years’ Day. But he always used collard greens which, as a kid I thought where gross. Now I love all dark leafy greens.
In this stew I found on Petit World Citizen she uses turnip greens and garnishes the stew with fresh cilantro and scallions. I can not wait to give this one a try. And I think I will be making this before New Years Day for sure.
